Novinky
In the first week of the holidays a group of adventurous Year 10 boys headed to the snowy slopes of Perisher Valley for an unforgettable snow trip. Skiing and snowboarding lessons helped them quickly find their rhythm on the mountain. Off the slopes, they warmed up with plenty of hot chocolates and doughnuts and spent evenings socialising and playing billiards. The boys truly made the most of this memorable experience. Year 12 student, Ben, recently spent two weeks immersed in the world of construction with our Preparatory School builders, Marshall & Brougham, as part of his SACE Community Studies assessment requirement. Of the experience, Ben said, "I learned valuable new ways to communicate, and how to work in a team efficiently. I also gained new practical skills and built confidence in my chosen career pathway - either Construction Management at uni or an apprenticeship in carpentry." Huge thanks to Old Reds, Andrew and Hugh Marshall (PAC 1984 & 2019), and Marshall & Brougham for supporting real-world learning and providing mentoring for the next generation of boys. (fb)
