Adelaide's own Anime and Video Games Festival https://t.co/QtxNh3iEB6 AVCon is Adelaide's premier Anime & Gaming Festival! Tournaments, Cosplay, Anime screenings and more. We had mini events throughout 2022 including: Yorkon at the York Peninsula and youth week at Wakefield Regional putting on community based gaming and cosplay conventions in regional South Australia to connect with the community and give the young adults and children there education with the consoles and new games that they would not be able to access otherwise. Fringe Artist Market allowed our local artists to sell their wares relevant to the gaming /anime community to help local businesses coming out of COVID with a free event. After Dark helped out Cosplay community to express themselves artistically with no judgement in our cosplay competition. Our mini events helped encourage inclusivity, education on gaming, table top, Japanese culture and to reconnect with those I m not metro and regional South Australia as well as helping local artists and small businesses.
