Thank you to The Anchorage Fire Department for their swift and professional response to a minor fire at the Covenant House Alaska building on Saturday night. Their quick actions, supported by our sprinkler system and fire alarms, truly made a difference! While the incident did not pose a significant threat, the building has sustained fire and water damage. We are so grateful that all youth and staff are safe, but it will be some days before affected young people can move back into their rooms; they are currently safely housed in our gym where our dedicated team continues to provide support and services without interruption.
