Legacy is a unique and iconic Australian organisation providing support to the families of veterans who have died or given their health. Supporting our veterans' families. The objects of the Club are: (1) to provide care for the dependants of those who served their country, namely Veterans, who gave their lives or health on operational service or following service, and the Australian Defence Force members who died in service; (2) to provide information and appropriate support, as well as assistance by way of referral to relevant community, local, State and Federalbased government services, as applicable, concerning applications for financial grants and other appropriate financial assistance; and (3) to operate selfcare residential accommodation for aged persons. Brisbane Water (NSW) Legacy Club supports our Veterans families on the NSW Central Coast. This is conducted by providing Advocacy, Financial support, Social Programs and activities, Education Scholarships, in home support services and welfare support to War Widows, Legacy Juniors, Disabled Dependants and families of veterans suffering from health issues. An affordable housing Retirement Village is also operated for War Widows, Veterans and single females. Legatees (Volunteers) provide the majority of these services, supported by a small group of staff, providing professional welfare support and governance
