Delivered culturally specific aged care support services to elderly Filipinos across Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria. Supported families and individuals during the COVID pandemic with meals, groceries and essential items. Delivered wellness promotion activities to reduce social isolation and improve physical and mental health. Delivered health promotion activitieis and information sessions to improve the awareness and support for Filipinos living with Dementia and support for their families and Carers. Supported vulnerable individuals and families at risk of homelessness, and experiencing domestic violence or elder abuse. Provided health and service information sessions and linking clients to support services including employment support. Supported Filipino Carers in returning to the workforce, providing work experience opportunities. Assisted Filipino community groups in Metro Melbourne, Regional Victoria and NSW to provide social support and COVID19 related support to Filipino seniors. Worked collaboratively with organisations and service providers to deliver projects that support the wellbeing of Filipinos. Delivered community consultations and health information sessions in the Philippines about Dementia and support for people living with Dementia and their families and Carers.
