About Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery Brisbane Australia
Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery Brisbane Australia is a Non-Profit Open Access Community Printmaking Studio and Gallery managed and supported by Fine Artist Volunteers. Primarily, Impress provides facilities and a community for its 128 registered members so they are able to learn, develop and practice their craft. In addition, Impress supports and cooperates with local organizations such as Kedron State High school, Queensland College of Art (Exhibitions and Internships) and the Kedron Arts Trail. More widely, Impress enables and promotes joint initiatives with KickArts (Cairns), Umbrella Studio (Townsville), Inkmasters (Cairns), Wei,num Arts (Cape York), Hunter Press (Tasmania), Sydney Contemporary (NSW) and Print Council of Australia.

A reminder that 'CUT IT OUT', an exhibition of 35 linocut prints by Impress member and tutor Wayne Singleton has it's opening event at Petrie Terrace Gallery tomorrow (Friday) night from 7-9 pm. All are welcome. Note that petrie Terrace is a clearway until 7pm. (fb)
