YEAR 10 WILKINS PROJECT Year 10 Student Rocks Design Thinking Challenge As part of the Wilkins Project, Mabel Neo, a Year 10 student, showcased her entrepreneurial flair with a striking guitar-inspired Apple prototype, the Apple Guitar! In this unit on innovation and design thinking, students applied creative problem-solving to invent and pitch original products. Mabel's confident delivery and carefully crafted 3D model exemplify the project’s focus on user-centred design, branding, and persuasive communication. Her work reflects not just artistic skill but also the ability to think like a designer and entrepreneur, turning bold ideas into tangible solutions. YEAR 12 CHRISTIAN LIVING “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 In our unit, Legacy and Service, the Year 12s have been exploring how they can make a meaningful contribution to others through their God-given talents, particularly by serving the youngest members of our school community – the Receptions. This unit is all about leaving a legacy: using their passions, skills and creativity to mentor and inspire our Reception students in a way that is engaging, practical and memorable. The Year 12s have had the opportunity to design and lead mini-experiences that support and stretch the younger students’ abilities while embodying the spirit of Christian service. This project allows them to serve others with purpose, in a hands-on way, and leave behind a meaningful legacy at school.
