Climate and Health Alliance Incorporated
The Climate and Health Alliance Incorporated (CAHA) is a non-profit organization in Australia that serves as the peak body on climate change and health. Established in 2010, it is a coalition of over 100 health and medical organizations, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and unions.
Mission and Vision
CAHA's mission is to build a powerful health sector movement for climate action and sustainable healthcare. Its vision is for the health sector to play a leading role in restoring a safe climate, fostering an ecologically sustainable, just, and healthy world.
Activities and Impact
CAHA employs evidence-based advocacy, a collaborative approach, and engagement with professionals, policymakers, and media to address climate change as a health crisis. It has gained national and global recognition for its efforts, including acknowledgment from The Lancet as an example of inspiration and achievement in addressing climate and health issues.
Membership and Structure

This year, CAHA turns 15! Together, we’ve achieved real impact – thanks to you, our incredible supporters and Members. CAHA began with limited resources but was driven by the urgent need to address the health impacts of climate change. We quickly grew into a leading voice for evidence-based advocacy and collaboration in the health sector. In 15 years, we've achieved a lot to be proud of.
