Where It Grows Native to tropical and subtropical regions across South and Southeast Asia, Pouzolzia has travelled widely, naturalising in Africa, South America, the southern United States, and here in Far North Queensland. Its adaptability makes it a welcome companion in warm, humid climates like ours. 🥗 Edible & Nutrient-Rich Packed with calcium, iron, and zinc, the leaves are a powerhouse of nutrition and can be cooked or eaten fresh, just like any other leafy green. Healing Properties Like many rainforest herbs, Pouzolzia is deeply woven into traditional medicine across Asia. It carries a remarkable range of properties - anti-fungal, antioxidant, antibacterial, hypoglycaemic, anthelmintic, insecticidal, and galactagogue.
