The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (the RAS) is a member-based not-for-profit apolitical organisation based in Perth, WA. The RAS' role is to promote the significance of rural Western Australia and the state's primary industries. * We administered the RASWA scholarships that empower young people to create a sustainable and productive future for agriculture. * We have introduced an annual Agricultural Youth Scholarship over three years for individuals enrolled in a Bachelor level course at an Australian University in an agricultural related discipline. * We have awarded scholarships of around $7,360 this year in agricultural educational support activities.
