Pay it forward Horse rescue sessions. Humans helping Horses. Have you ever wondered how you can help one of the Lincoln Park horses but wasn’t sure how? Here’s an idea, come out and experience the rehabilitation of a true rescue horse and see what it’s really like. This may include giving the horse a makeover with grooming/trimming, bathing etc. Spending time with a nervous or anxious horse and offering them TLC to help gain their trust. Learn how to start the rehabilitation training, this can include de-sensitising, lunging, preparation for saddling and eventually a rider. In turn you have the opportunity to learn important horse handling skills and natural horsemanship, you will become a part of the horse’s rehabilitation process, all whilst giving you that feel good feeling of helping a horse in need. Your session fee money will go towards the horse’s vet/farrier requirements whilst in here at Lincoln Park. These can be a one-off session, or we can offer ongoing weekly sessions with the same horse, this allows you to continue to bond and be a part of that horse’s rehabilitation journey. We are offering these sessions for $50 per hour for one off session or 6 sessions for $250 paid in advance. (fb)
