This week is a time to shine a light on the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness—and the collective action needed to end it. To mark the start of the week, WHHHS attended the powerful screening of Frances, a documentary amplifying the voices and experiences of those with lived experience of homelessness. Our team also took part in a Q&A panel alongside Wollongong City Council and film producer Sharon Lewis , contributing to important conversations on housing, dignity, and support. We proudly hosted a stall at the Service Expo run at Lighthouse Church Wollongong, connecting with community members and raising awareness about the vital support WHHHS provides across the region. For nearly 40 years we have been servicing the Illawarra community providing assistance to people who are the most vulnerable with a particular focus on homelessness and at risk of becoming homeless due to a number of issues.
