Good luck to all the Year 12s beginning their VCE exams today! With rising rates of youth homelessness, financial hardship, and domestic violence, we know that many will be taking their exams having overcome enormous barriers to be there. But we see you and we celebrate you for all you have achieved and will achieve. We recently sat down with Jacinta Parsons on ABC Radio and a young person who has come through Anchor’s crisis services to discuss the impact and disruption that an experience of homelessness has on a young person. Emma’s insights are both shocking and inspiring. We see this story play out in many different ways, year in year out, in our youth homelessness services.
