EMPOWERING YOUTH THROUGH GROUP MENTORING CHANGING THE NARRATIVE Adolescents are regularly diminished by labels that define them as consumers risk takers anxious and depressed. We partner with schools to tell a different story that recognises young peoples enormous strengths and potentials THE NEED Australian young people navigate complex social emotional and educational challenges threatening their wellbeing and prospects. When young people lack timely developmentallyappropriate support or experience disadvantage they are more susceptible to mental health concerns youth offending disengagement from school and unhealthy life trajectories. They are also at risk of entering adulthood unprepared for new roles and responsibilities.
