That's a wrap for our PATHFINDER career exploration, work readiness, and personal development experience for our Year 9 Lakes Entrance Secondary College learners. We spent the last two terms learning and working together, with some great discussions around strengths, interests, what they want from working, and putting their best foot forward, while they continue thinking about their future world of work. Thank you, TAFE Gippsland SEAMEC, for the learning space, something that we acknowledge always forms a big and important part of any successful experience for students. It's been awesome working with such a great bunch of young people, who provided us with some amazing feedback: - I really liked coming here and learning; it was the main highlight of my week. - made lots of memories - I learnt how to communicate better and to feel comfortable using my voice - I always felt safe and comfortable when I came in - I'm glad I came here - doing fun activities - Facilitator was a cool dude - Facilitators did good job helping is with our work and explaining things - explored Lakes Entrance - I enjoyed coming every Wednesday it made my week - I enjoyed going to the park some afternoons for breaks from the room - Always kind and safe enjoyable space - I think I will find the skills I learned and apply them to the workplace and maybe even school Thank you, Year 9 LESC crew 2025, we wish you all the best in the future !!!
