Australian Association for Adolescent Health promotes adolescent health & wellbeing through collaboration & connection at local, national and int'l levels. AAAH brings young people & professionals together to promote the health & wellbeing of young people. AAAH takes a health promotion approach in all its activities, from organisational governance to member engagement, publications and events. Central to its health promotion approach is the engagement with young people to inform and guide all activities in collaboration with professionals from a range of disciplines. AAAH contributes to the building of public policy, creating supportive environments, strengthening community action which can be seen in all of the AAAH Position Papers, Statements and policy submissions. AAAH has contributed to policy submissions on a number of issues related to disease prevention and control, including tobacco related diseases, mental health and a range of policies around the provision of accessible health care. AAAH s signature event is the annual Youth Health Conference.
