“PCDSA supports primary care health professionals to deliver high-quality clinically effective care, so as to improve the lives of people living with diabetes” The Primary Care Diabetes Society of Australia (PCDSA) is a not-for-profit organisation est in 2015. We are a Society of health practitioners with an interest in primary care diabetes in Australia. Vision: Best Teams, Best Care, Best Outcomes The charity aims to provide education through various mediums including an online medical journal, workshops and conferences about up to date management of diabetes to health practitioners involved in managing people with diabetes in a primary care setting in order to improve their knowledge, confidence and skills in order to optimise the care and health of people with diabetes. Its aims include supporting primary care research into diabetes and prediabetes and developing policies, guidelines and position statements relating to the primary care management of diabetes from multidisciplinary primary health perspectives.
