ASC will present their 2025 musical production ‘Three Dads and a Wedding’ next week on October 16th, 17th and 18th. Tickets are available from the front office. If you are unable to pick up tickets in-person, you also have the option of purchasing tickets by phoning the college on 57702000. Based on ‘Mamma Mia’, this production is a whole school activity involving 55 students and 10 staff. Our production was written and is directed by Molly Love and ex-student, Sophie Bowe. Choreography, poster and program design has been created by another ex-student, Annabelle Love. Costumes have been designed by ex-parent, Donna Merrilees, who amazes us with her creativity each year. Staff have also been busy and without their efforts this production would not go ahead. Phil Kim and Jack Mithen are the musical directors, Lachie Morrison has constructed the stage (it looks just like a Greek island!), and Penny Steuart and her Textiles class have made flowers and costumes for some of our Year 12 students who are making cameo appearances. New to our staff, Angus Wood as assistant director in the control booth and a member of the band, Will Goyder as a band member and Jane Nichols helping with artwork and T-shirt printing have all embraced the ASC ethos of pitching in and supporting one of our key annual events. Anita Rennie is in charge of coordinating catering, hall decoration, props and stage fit out, while Maxine Lopez and Jan McDonald have taken charge of the ticketing. Felicity Smith has assisted with printing, Anne Norris with finance and Darrell Hedger with construction equipment and painting materials. Students in Years 9-11 in Woodwork, Art, Sheetmetal and Textiles classes have assisted with construction and installation of the set. Doors open at the college hall at 6.45pm with some light entertainment. The show starts at 7.00pm. We hope to see you at our production! (fb)

The cast and crew of the College’s upcoming production of ‘3 Dad’s and a Wedding’ have been busy rehearsing this past term. Maddi Ware plays Donna, while Chase Hilder plays her love interest, Sam in this musical play inspired by ‘Mamma Mia’. The production will be held in the W.J. Moore Assembly Hall at the College on Thursday October 16th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th at 6.45pm. Tickets are now available for purchase at the front office.
