The origins of Lighthouse Christian Centre date back to the early 1960s when Pastor Jack Martin began a Sunday School in Springvale, Victoria, initially held in a local scout hall. This initiative grew into the Springvale Assembly of God church. In 1986, Pastor Richard Warner, following a vision, acquired a 10-acre property in Keysborough with the goal of establishing an all-age Christian Centre offering spiritual and educational services from childhood through adulthood.

By 1987, Lighthouse Christian Centre had relocated to this Keysborough site, expanding its facilities and ministries. The centre now hosts several educational institutions including Lighthouse Kindergarten, Lighthouse Christian College (encompassing primary and secondary levels), and the School of the Prophets, serving both the church community and the broader public.
