After more than 200 applications from across Australia, we’re proud to announce the inaugural Tim Fischer Fellow: Annabelle Hudson, a 24-year-old aspiring psychologist originally from Young, NSW. Annabelle’s project, True North, is a co-designed program helping rural and regional Year 10 students build self-belief, identify their strengths, and chart their own path to the future. Named in honour of our Patron, the late Hon. Tim Fischer AC, this Fellowship supports Australians who are creating change for the bush through curiosity, courage and community. Annabelle will receive $50,000 and mentoring through CEF’s national network to bring True North to life - a program that reflects Tim’s enduring legacy of making a tangible difference to regional and rural communities.
