Happy National Palliative Care Week🧡 For three decades, National Palliative Care Week has fostered conversations, raised awareness, and advocated for improved access and acceptance of palliative care, under the theme ‘What’s your plan?’. This week, we raised awareness among our older people about the importance of creating plans for their end-of-life wishes and discussing them with their families. We hosted informative sessions throughout our homes, which included a visit from a palliative care doctor and discussions about spiritual care from our Pastoral Care teams. These sessions were followed by morning teas and activities like the 'Final Shuffle' card game, which fostered meaningful conversations about life, values, memories, and wishes.
