When Barry had to leave Mount Gambier for seven weeks of radiotherapy and chemo in Adelaide, he was blown away by how much support was on offer through Cancer Council SA’s Greenhill Lodge. Since finishing his treatment in January and getting back home with no signs of his cancer, he wants to give something back while doing what he loves. This weekend, Barry will be taking part in Mount Gambier’s Cancer Council Cup motorcycle race weekend—a fantastic community event which raises vital funds for Cancer Council SA. "It gave me something really positive to look forward to when I got out of hospital. Something that, once I got back home and into a normal environment, I had a goal to work towards.” - Barry Last year the event raised a huge $13,000 and this year, they're hoping to make it to $20,000 raised for South Aussies impacted by cancer!
