“gada-gut guny-jee” Philanthropic trust established by and for First Nations communities of West and Central Arnhem Land KarrkadKanjdji Trust (KKT) partners with Indigenous Ranger groups in one of the most culturally rich and biodiverse regions of Australia: West and Central Arnhem Land. KKT brings together ranger groups and philanthropists to address some of the region's most pressing issues, including environmental conservation, ranger employment and the intergenerational transfer of Indigenous knowledge.

We acknowledge their long sustained connection to the land skies and waters and pay our respect to their Elders both past and present. We extend that respect to all First Nations peoples across Australia and recognise their collective unceded sovereignty. For thriving native ecosystems protected by Indigenous rangers Using fire to mitigate climate change practice culture and conserve habitat For strong Indigenous women equitably engaged in caring for Country Country rich in traditional ecological knowledge languages art and cultural practices For future generations connected to their Country with access to education both ways For Traditional Owners equipped to live and work on their ancestral lands Today KKT is a shared resource to eight First Nations communitycontrolled organisations in Arnhem Land.
