𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐒𝐖 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 🏃♀️🏅 Thirteen students travelled to Sydney during the school holidays to compete at the Combined Independent Schools NSW State Championships, held at Sydney Olympic Park — the warm-up venue for the Sydney Olympic Games. It was a busy and rewarding meet, with several students competing in multiple events. Standout performances came from Phoenix Wise and Quinn Downward, who both claimed gold in high jump in their 14-year events. Phoenix also earned silver in shot put and bronze in long jump, taking home three medals from four events. Congratulations also to Michael Williams (18–19 years) for placing fourth in both triple jump and shot put, and fifth in long jump; Remi Baulch, who competed in nine events; and Laura Stone, who placed fifth in the 800m. The Girls and Boys 14 & Under relay teams also achieved strong results, improving their times from the Albury Region Championships.
