Today, Westminster was filled with Dragons pride, love and an overwhelming sense of belonging as we farewelled the Class of 2025. A sea of green stretched from our front gates right across campus, as our whole school came together to form the Guard of Honour; paving the pathway for our Year 12s as they took their final steps of school life and first steps into their bright futures. A commemorative assembly steeped in tradition, Year 12s handed down their legacy with a biodegradable green balloon, with many tears, hugs and well wishes shared. Congratulations Class of '25! At the end of Term 3, we proudly celebrated 15 students who achieved the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – the highest level of a program that continues to inspire personal growth, resilience and leadership. From alpine hikes in New Zealand to sea kayaking off Kangaroo Island, these students have embraced challenge with courage and purpose. Their achievement reflects more than just adventure – it represents service, determination and the confidence to lead. With more than 300 students currently engaged across all levels, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award continues to shape meaningful journeys at Westminster. and we look forward to the inspirational journeys that future students will undertake.
