🌟 Celebrating Second Chances & Building a Healthier Future 🌟 April is Second Chance Month, a time to honor the importance of supporting individuals re-entering society after incarceration. Each year, millions of people return to their communities, and it's vital that we offer them the opportunities, support, and resources they need to thrive. At La Red Health Center, we firmly believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Our Rural Re-entry Program is dedicated to connecting individuals leaving incarceration with a medical home where they can receive the care and resources necessary for a successful reentry. This month, we’re especially grateful to Rick, one of our first Rural Re-entry patients, who has generously shared his story with us.
