UNIDOS-US (formerly the National Council of La Raza) is the nation’s largest nonprofit, nonpartisan Latino civil rights and advocacy organization—and last month, our very own Bethany and Maria had the incredible opportunity to attend their national conference in Kansas City. They connected with inspiring Latino leaders from across the country, joined impactful workshops, and gained fresh ideas to bring back to Ciudad Nueva—helping us serve our community even better. 🌟 Last week, we said goodbye to an incredible member of our team — Daisy Guzman. Daisy began her journey with Ciudad Nueva as a social work intern and went on to serve faithfully as a Case Manager with our adult programs and as our Communications Coordinator. Throughout her time with us, Daisy built meaningful relationships, collaborated with grace, and became a friend to many in our community. 💛Daisy, you will be missed.
