[English] Together with the Editors-in-Chief, the Subject Editors are the ones responsible for reviewing the manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Field Ornithology. Articles considered suitable for publication are sent to referees to start the reviewing process. Once delivered back, Subject Editors serve as a nexus between the referees and Editors in Chief, submitting their own comments before the article is sent back to the author. As you can imagine, their work is essential to ensure quick manuscript turnarounds and the high quality of published articles! Subject Editors work for free, and we thought they deserved public recognition for their service. Thank you all!
