Our annual festival brings films and filmmakers from around the country and around the world. TheMission: The SouthSide Film Institute is dedicated topreserving and promoting the art of the independent filmmaker, providing the patronof the arts freedom of choice, and showcasing the community culture of southBethlehem. The SSFI and its component festival areunique within the universe of over 600 independent film festivals in the UnitedStates. Our primary focus is thefilmmaker: providing a venue for screening, audience feedback, and productionassistance and guidance. In addition, weoffer free monthly film screenings - the Third Thursday Film Club.
