We are in search of a part-time Programs Associate to work with our Programs Manager and assist in coordinating and implementing BCA’s public programs and activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail- and systems-oriented, and an effective communicator and collaborator. Arts administration experience a plus, along with an interest in working with emerging, grassroots, and community-based artists and arts organizations in all disciplines. Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills all a must. Bronx-based artists, collectives, and arts organizations are invited to apply for New Work, Arts Fund, and Community Arts grants of up to $12,500. CEGs support local projects that enable Bronx communities to experience and actively engage with the performing, literary, media, or visual arts. Under the CEGs umbrella, three funds—Arts Fund, Community Arts, and New Work—provide awards to Bronx-based individual artists, artist collectives, and nonprofit arts and community organizations who propose community-based projects.
