HOME CARE OLDER ADULT SERVICES HOME CARE CDPAP Age in place and maintain a dignified quality of life OLDER ADULT CENTERS Enjoy all kinds of physical and recreational activities OUR MISSION Over 50 years serving the Lower East Side VOLUNTEER WITH US Help vulnerable older adults in the community Providing Compassionate Care for New Yorkers Since 1971 United Jewish Council of the East Side Inc. is a nonprofit coordinating and umbrella organization that provides a wide range of human services and community development programs in New York City mostly through separate 501c3 corporations. Our mission focuses on the many older adults and members of marginalized communities in the Lower East Side of Manhattan who lack families or a support network to rely on especially as they age. For over 50 years UJCES has been working to fill this gap by offering comprehensive services under one roof including home care services food assistance programs social services and older adult centers through our various dedicated entities.
