A message from our Social Worker, Christine Moossmann: Hello Caregivers, I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the sun and its warmth. Understanding that warmth is easier on ALS patients than cold, I do hope that you have been able to get out a bit more than usual to take care of yourself as well as your loved one. Please know that the next Caregiver Support Group will be on Tuesday, August 19, at 6:00 pm. The Zoom link is below. Last month, we were happy to welcome a new member who always brings a great deal to the group and the discussion overall. We welcome caregivers who are at all stages of the ALS journey, and our goal is to support each person wherever they are. The benefit of having a varied group is that the conversations can then cover quite a bit of ground allowing all members to benefit from the past experiences of others and while sharing the current challenges and gaining insight into what is coming next. All of that said, the most important thing we do in the group, is to start where you are. Please do join us next week.
