We check in with owners 🐑 and document building and site conditions, like at Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village (pictured). This informs regular ongoing maintenance and an actionable plan for a site’s preservation in perpetuity.⁠ ⁠ What else is new at Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village?⁠ 📰 The first of two annual volunteer days were featured by the Portland Press Herald, as the Shakers prepared to open for the season. Come fall, volunteers will again be welcomed to help put the Village to bed for winter.⁠ 🎙️ There’s also a new full-time resident at the Village in New Gloucester!
