Yesterday, while out on pasture, Wren gave birth to a beautiful heifer calf. 🌿🐄 Wren carries a special lineage herself—she’s out of Winona, who came to us from Triform, and her sire was the bull Montana. The sire of this new calf appears to be CAI, out of Cairo. Why does this matter? In herd stewardship, lineage helps us understand temperament, milk qualities, and overall herd health. Each new calf represents not only the continuation of life, but also the weaving together of traits that shape the strength and resilience of our herd for generations to come.
