Thank you to everyone who brought feed tags to our Fall event! Please keep saving tags for us! (fb)
Our Saturday morning feeder arrived at the barn to find a "not so nice" smell. Ms. Zoe had tried to make friends with Pepe` Le Pew (aka a skunk). We immediately called our amazing vet Classic Equine, LLC and began meds and saline rinses. Not seeing much improvement with in 8 hours, we scheduled a Sunday morning vet visit, and we are so glad we did. Zoe has an ulceration and now is on eye ointment. Eyes are not something to "wait and see" if it gets better, they should be addressed right away! According to our vet, if the swelling around an eye isn't better within 24 hours, your horse needs an examination. Thank you Dr. Skylar Thompson for taking your time on a Sunday morning and checking this girl out! (fb)

Our 501c3 charity organization believes that every equine deserves a home where he or she can receive consistent care and love from the humans around them. Our volunteer run organization aims to provide a safe place for equines to recover while we help them find their forever home.
