Climate Generation ignites and sustains the ability of educators, youth, and communities to act on systems perpetuating the climate crisis. For more than 15 years, we have been building climate literacy, amplifying personal connections to climate change, and developing powerful advocates among educators, youth, and communities through a model of collaboration and partnership. Our work addresses climate change in three areas: education, youth activism, and community engagement. We integrate Western science with Indigenous ways of knowing, center justice and anti-racism, support the leadership of youth and frontline communities, and focus on solutions rather than relying on fear. Our vision is a just and abundant world beyond the climate crisis.
