NPTC is delighted to announce not just one, but two significant updates regarding the accreditation status of our programs. Our Cy-Hawk Region has received APA accreditation on contingency! Accreditation on contingency is the anticipated status at this stage of the process. This accreditation is in effect as of May 9, 2025, meaning the two interns who just graduated from the Cy-Hawk Region in July will be recognized as graduates from an APA-accredited internship! Following this announcement, we also learned that our Pacific Region has been approved for a site visit by APA! The first cohort of interns in this region began in June, and the training year is off to a promising start. NPTC extends its gratitude to our member sites, training directors, supervisors, interns, alumni, and leadership for their dedication and hard work in maintaining a successful program.
