Week 3 of Summer Farm Camp at Urban Roots was full of flavor and earth-loving fun! 🍴 All campers whipped up their own snacks each day, including sweet potato & carrot fries, herb popcorn, and other tasty creations fresh from the farm. 👩‍🍳 Kids Camp (ages 5–9) dove into “Herbs n Roots” aka our cooking-themed week! Campers explored new flavors from around the world, learned how to farm local ingredients, and whisked their way through a global recipe adventure. ♻️ Young Farmers (ages 10–14) got hands-on in “Farmtopia,” a sustainability-themed week where they learned to build with recycled materials, use eco-friendly building practices, and harness solar energy.
