Day Three of the SAMS Medical Mission in Syria – Tuesday, May 20, 2025 A day rich in service, compassion, and clinical excellence. Today’s mission witnessed exceptional activity, including: ✅ 113 medical consultations ✅ 27 specialized procedures and interventions ✅ Workshops and educational lectures for resident physicians ✅ Dozens of critical cases in intensive care, pediatrics, and neonatal units Highlights of the day: Cardiac device implantations at the Agriculture Hospital A scientific lecture on vascular diseases at Al-Razi Hospital A workshop on autism and ADHD at the Children’s Hospital Clinical rounds and skill-building sessions with local residents Medical activities were carried out in several major hospitals and medical centers across Syria, including Al-Muwasat Hospital, Al-Razi Hospital in Aleppo, Aleppo University Hospital, Al-Ziraa Hospital, and the University Children's Hospital in Damascus. These activities also extended to specialized departments such as neonatal intensive care units, cardiac care units, and gastroenterology and respiratory departments.
