The Israel Children's Cancer Foundation helps every child, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity, with cancer treatment. The ICCF mission is dedicated to the treatment of Israeli children suffering with cancer. No matter w ISRAEL CHILDREN'S CANCER FOUNDATION (ICCF): MISSION STATEMENTIsrael Children's Cancer Foundation's mission is to improve the level of clinical care for more than 1,400 Israeli children afflicted with the devastating disease of cancer. This is accomplished through the funds generated by ICCF donors which are then forwarded to Israel in the form of grants to six major hospitals and medical centers who care for 96% of all child cancer patients. ICCF is unique in that it is the only non-profit whose funds are earmarked for in-hospital treatment of these children. These grants are awarded after an in-depth review by ICCF's Medical Advisory Council, composed of the most prominent members of the pediatric oncology-hematology establishment in the United States. These grants are used for programs that are not funded by the Israeli government or its health-care establishment. These grants cover a wide range of programs, including bone marrow transplants, long-term follow-up clinics, art therapy, in-hospital and home hospice programs, as well as a number of others that are vital to the wellbeing of the patients. As evidenced by progress reports emanating from Israel, they have had an important impact on the quality of pediatric cancer care through the efforts of ICCF and the generosity of its donors.
