Shannon arrived at ICL’s Rockaway Park Clinic feeling overwhelmed by personal challenges. Last week, we teamed up with Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Veterans to host a special Veterans Cookout at our East New York Health HUB—and News 12 Brooklyn came by to check it out! With the help of our generous partners, we served up more than 100 meals, distributed 96 summer care kits, enjoyed live music, and celebrated our community with good food and even better company. We’re proud to support veterans living with mental health challenges through transitional housing and behavioral health care.
