Meet Americans Who Tell the Truth artist and activist Robert Shetterly during a book and poster signing at the museum this Thursday, May 22 from 1:30–3:30PM. The signing is free with admission, and our shop is stocked with posters of truth tellers and titles by and about the portrait subjects. Then in the evening, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Alice P. Green in the free public unveiling reception at the Alice Moore Black Arts and Cultural Center at 6PM. Dr. Green’s portrait is the newest addition to the Americans Who Tell the Truth project, and the program includes remarks by Shetterly.
