Many hands make beautiful work! Here's our project last week at the Quaker New York Yearly Meeting held at Oakwood Friends School in Poughkeepsie NY. Quakers from NY, Northern NJ and Fairfield County in CT held a week of business and social sessions as part of the Quaker annual meeting. Around 300 Friends of all ages participated. We ran 2 sessions of intergenerational service work on Saturday and Sunday. The groups made no sew blankets for families in need while holding meaningful conversations.
