Earlier this month, Making Headway Foundation treated 17 of our families to a special performance of the Gazillion Bubble Show in NYC. It was an amazing show and all our families had a wonderful time. As a special bonus, all our kids got to go on stage with the star of the show (and Guinness world record holder) Fan Yang. This special event was for children with a brain or spinal cord tumor and was made possible through support from the Justus Special Moments Fund at Making Headway. Making Headway's investment have led to another published research paper published, this time in the March edition of Acta Neuropathologica. Title: "Metabolic profiling of adult and pediatric gliomas reveals enriched glucose availability in pediatric gliomas and increased fatty acid oxidation in adult gliomas."
