Hello Folks, First thank you to all who came out to Pumpkin Fest to enjoy the festivities and to those participated in our scarecrows and pumpkin carving contests! We were very impressed with the creative submissions. :) We had a mishap with the tent the other night and had to get everything out of the tent very quickly. A big shout out and thank you to Ron Banay, Rebecca Boucher and Butch Farrar for helping us move everything before the tent came down. Some of the scarecrows took a little beating but have survived. Please swing by and pick up your scarecrow, carved pumpkin or painted pumpkin when you get a moment or two. You will find them on the porch of the Center Town Hall. We look forward to seeing you all next year at Shirley Pumpkin Fest but for now check back for photos of this year's event! Thank you again! The Shirley Pumpkin Fest Committee (fb)

The Shirley Meeting House The Shirley Meeting House Since 1773 the Shirley Meeting House located on the historic Shirley Common has opened its doors to the people of Shirley for town meetings worship and community celebrations. Today under the stewardship of a nonprofit charitable organization it continues to offer a welcoming venue for varied events contributing to the cultural enrichment of the community and beyond. You are invited to take a moment to appreciate its beauty and enjoy all that it has to offer. The Societys goals are simple preserve the building and encourage its continued use.
