Their impact is being noticed too: the university’s FSL office has praised their outreach, and their recruitment is ahead of the curve, reaching students from the Bridge and Tri-County programs often overlooked by others. Most impressively, they’ve shown a relentless drive to grow by seeking mentorship, joining calls in numbers, and showing up with notebooks open and minds ready. The Alpha Pi Elder Chapter at Virginia Tech built strong and lasting bridges between alumni and undergraduates through consistent outreach, digital engagement, and thoughtful planning. Their crowning achievement? Organizing and marketing an incredible 50th anniversary celebration, which brought over 150 alumni back to campus — including several founding brothers. The event not only rekindled connections but also raised $20,000 for critical house renovations.
