Did you know? Paul A. Sincerbox and his wife, Thelma M., were the first residents of this 1940 Neo-Tudor cottage on Webster Avenue. Originally from New York, Paul was branch manager of General Electric Supply Company in Bangor by 1933. He later was a distributor for Macmillan motor oil, assistant manager of New England Pipe & Supply Company in Brewer, manager of Bangor Hardware & Plumbing Supply Company, insurance agent, and during World War II he worked at Bangor’s Dow Field. Thelma worked as a bookkeeper for Bangor contractor Daniel D. O’Connell. By the 1950s the couple had moved to Brunswick where Paul was employed at the US Naval Air Station. (fb)
