A special thank you to everyone who came out to "School Kits for South Texas," an MCC school kit packing event at the MCC Central States Material Resources Center in North Newton, Kansas! A group of 30 volunteers of all ages gathered to pack 484 school kits in less than two hours! MCC staff, Becky Teiwes was present to share about MCC partner organizations The Sidewalk School and Solidarity Engineering, each utilize MCC school kits as they support asylum seeking families at the U.S./Mexico border.
