#StartHere at Northern Essex Community College The Northern Essex Community College Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established by members of the community to provide support for the goals of Northern Essex Community College and to expand opportunities available at the college.  Incorporated in 1972, the Foundation provides support to Northern Essex for: student scholarships; equipment purchases; program revitalization; faculty and staff development; and other needs as they arise and are approved by the Foundation Board of Directors.  The Foundation Board is made up of community members, meets quarterly and operates on a fiscal year basis (July to June).
