Santi School Project is dedicated to promoting literacy in public schools, publishing children's books in Nepali, and training teachers in the rural areas of Nepal. The Santi School Project was established in 2006 to improve education for children in the Sindhupalchok district of eastern Nepal. After establishing a school there and supporting the school's operation for next four years, it has expanded to other districts in the country by building and renovating school buildings, improving health and sanitation, training teachers and mobilizing international and domestic volunteers at public schools of Nepal.
